Clarification of the Procedure

We will pick names on the Saturday preceding the following Saturday’s game from those members who have put their names down for selection.

We select names against strict criteria to ensure a fair selection across the season.

It is not first come first served. The position of your name on the sheet is irrelevant to actual selection.

We also pick four substitutes as the first port of call if anyone has to withdraw.

Look to see if you have been selected (even as a substitute) early that week and tick to confirm you are ok to play or be called up.

If selected for the game and at any time you have a personal reason which means you cannot play please contact us urgently even if it is late in the week or even on match day morning. This would be much appreciated to ensure we can get a full team for the game.

Please do not try to get a substitute yourself.

Substitutes who have ticked to be available will be the first one we contact in the case of a player withdrawing.

Substitutes do not have to attend the match unless we have contacted you.
